Our Elementary Students are taking on leadership roles as “Pint Size Hero’s” to support the
American Red Cross Blood Drive to be held at Wells Central School on May 30, 2018 from 1:30pm-6:00pm.
This is our first project to support the Student Council sponsored drive which will provide needed resources to not only our Wells neighbors but possibly throughout the Country, as well as college scholarship opportunities!
Each Elementary student will be campaigning to secure one blood donor, so they are rolling up their sleeves!
We learned 5 things in school today:
Every person on earth needs blood to live.
Sometimes people need new blood.
Someone needs blood every 2 seconds.
It’s important to give to others.
Although were still too young to give, WE CAN STILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
Challenge your friends (or anyone for that matter) to a friendly competition! Who will win the battle to do the most social good for your community?
Put your virtual blood drive campaign against one or even multiple other campaigns to see who can recruit more blood donors for the American Red Cross.
