We are MAJIC: Muslims and Jews Inspiring Change, a program of NewGround: a Muslim-Jewish Partnership for Change. As Islamic and Jewish high school students who have spent the year building relationships with one another, we wanted to come together to serve the community during the pandemic. Both our Islamic and Jewish traditions teach us that “saving one life is like saving the world.” Now is the time to come together across religion, race, class, and belief. Nothing is more vital than saving a life.
