In Honor of Chris Haley

24 /102

On Sept. 28, 2011, while serving as a U.S. Army medic in Afghanistan, Chris Haley suffered serious injuries when an improvised explosive device exploded near him. Due to his injuries, Chris lost his right leg and received 51 blood transfusions that day, followed by more in later surgeries. Today, newlywed Chris recently began training to become a physical therapist. To commemorate Chris’“alive” date and to pay those 51 blood transfusions forward, his family asks the community to help honor this Purple Heart recipient by donating blood during this drive. You can donate from virtually anywhere! Thank You!
