The Red Cross has to collect 15,000 blood donations every day to have enough blood to help patients in 2,700 hospitals and transfusion centers across the country. That’s a lot of patients in need and all of us, coming together, can help ensure patients receive life saving blood.

In honor of my grandmother who had breast cancer, I would like to start a campaign for people who are struggling with cancer. I would like to give back to my community and help those who are in need of blood. My grandmother who died on March 1, 2018, was a resilient woman who always had an optimistic look on life. In honor of her, I would like to start a campaign that helps those who need blood.
