Each year, an estimated 6.8 million people in the US donate blood. Due to COVID19, over 6000 blood drives were cancelled and over 200,000 fewer blood donations were given. Blood drive centers are still open and patients need blood now more than ever. We challenge the Columbia University community to give back, donate blood and save a life!
