As part of our Paper with Purpose® promise, Boise Paper is committed to making a difference in the communities our customers and employees call home. In 2019, we are demonstrating that commitment through our ongoing support of the American Red Cross. This year, Boise Paper’s donation of office papers will help offset administrative costs of the Red Cross Biomedical Services division, ensuring more dollars go directly to critical blood collection and distribution efforts.

Every two seconds, someone in the United States needs lifesaving blood. The Red Cross helps meet this constant demand by providing about 40 percent of the nation’s blood supply. It does this work through the support of generous blood donors, blood drive hosts, and partnerships like the one it has with Boise Paper. Collectively, these partnerships are the driving factor behind the Red Cross’ ability to supply 2,500 hospitals across the country with blood products every day.
