Ball Gives Back

13 /100

We work together every day to make high quality cans, ends and slugs. But today, we want to accomplish something even more meaningful. We want to help save lives. The Red Cross has to collect 15,000 blood donations every day to have enough blood to help patients in 2,700 hospitals and transfusion centers across the country. That’s a lot of people that can use our help.

Participating in the Ball Gives Back “Sleeves Up” campaign is easy. Employees can pledge to give blood using the Benevity Website. Pledging on the Benevity site will also track your volunteer hours.  Family and friends of Ball employees can pledge to support the campaign by logging onto http://www.redcross.org/SleevesUp. Note that Red Cross does not have locations in Colorado, Florida and Hawaii. Employees in these states can donate to Bonfils.

The Ball Gives Back SleevesUp campaign has a goal 100 gallons of blood. Make and keep an appointment to give blood to the American Red Cross or Bonfils.

This campaign is being sponsored by the African American Ball Resource Group as a service project for Black History Month. We appreciate your support of our effort to help save lives.
