Donating blood at age 18.
4 /75

One blood donation can help save up to three lives. That means a lot to patients in need, but it took on a new meaning recently.

Without volunteer blood donors, our story might have had a different ending. Help me reach my goal and ensure that patients receive the life saving blood they need. Make and keep an appointment to give blood to the American Red Cross.

I have donated blood since the very moment I learned I was able to. Whenever there was a chance, best believe I was donating. A little over a gallon of my blood has gone out of me to help a potential of 27 others. During all of my donations, never did it cross my mind that one day, I would need one. It has been almost three years since I received my transfusion. Without the help of someone’s else’s blood, I would have had a very slow recovery, and it would have taken away the little things that matter. After delivering my first child, I was very weak. I could barely stand, let alone walk. Thanks to the boost I received, I was able to heal better, and enjoy my precious baby. Help someone else who may need a boost to keep their health and well being.
